Paul Murphy

Paul qualified as a barrister in the UK in 2004 before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2012 and working for a leading offshore law firm in litigation, restructuring and insolvency where he was a Legal 500 recommended lawyer in 2016 and 2017.

In 2018, he left private practice to focus on developing various financial services and investment companies which includes reinsurance, banking and crypto/fintech enterprises. Having been through the process of starting and managing companies, he is acutely aware of the sensitivities involved in operating complex and regulated businesses and, whilst he has experience sitting on boards as a non-executive offshore director, his primary interest is helping enterprises grow.

He has sat on the boards of regulated and unregulated offshore and onshore companies which includes funds, private investment companies, charitable entities and holding companies. He has significant experience in reinsurance, crypto and fintech and is particularly interested in promoting crypto and fintech ventures.

Jonathan Murphy

Jonathan qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte & Touche (UK) in 2007 before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2008 and being appointed managing director of a private family office after several years working for an international insolvency practitioners.

He has significant experience managing private wealth which includes sourcing, developing and managing private equity investments in commodities, real estate, commercial property, hospitality and fintech. He sits on the board of Portland JSX, a listed investment vehicle, is Chairman of IFP Group, an institutional investment advisor, and sits on the board of GoDo, a start-up US based fintech payroll company that has been through several successful capital raise rounds.

In addition, he has sat on the boards of regulated and unregulated offshore and onshore companies and has well developed capital networks, both in terms of debt and equity.
